Overview
The Profile Analytics Dashboard gives you a complete view of how your social accounts are performing. Each section answers different questions about your content and audience, from basic follower counts to detailed engagement patterns.
Why Authenticate?
Some data is public. Most of the good stuff isn’t.
Without authentication, you’ll see basic metrics—follower count, number of posts, and likes/comments on public posts.
With authentication, you unlock the full picture:
Reach and impressions
Engagement rate
Stories and Reels metrics
Audience demographics (age, gender, location)
🔐 For LinkedIn, no data is available without authentication.
The more profiles you authenticate, the deeper your insights.
See What You Unlock
Includes platform-by-platform metrics and authentication requirements.
Account Overview
The top section displays your account's core metrics—the foundational numbers that provide context for all other analytics.
Total Followers or Subscribers
Your current audience size. This number directly impacts your potential reach for any content you publish.
Total Following
How many accounts you follow. Appears on X and Instagram only.
Total Posts/Videos
Lifetime content published on this account. Higher numbers indicate more established accounts with longer posting histories.
Platform-specific Metrics
Additional totals like Total Likes (TikTok), Total Views (YouTube), and Page Likes (Facebook) reflect platform-specific engagement patterns.
🔐 Platform Availability
These metrics are available without authentication on X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. For LinkedIn, authentication is required. On Facebook, only Page Likes are shown.
Key insights to look for
High follower-to-following ratio: Can indicate stronger authority or influence especially on platforms like X and Instagram.
Low total post volume: May limit your ability to spot performance trends or compare engagement over time.
Flat follower count despite high activity: May suggest your content isn’t reaching new audiences.
Platform-specific differences: Higher totals on one platform may show where your baseline traction is strongest.
Engagement Metrics
This section shows how your content performed during the time period you selected, focusing on how people interacted with your posts.
Posts / Tweets/ Videos This Period
Number of posts published during your selected timeframe. This becomes the denominator for calculating average performance metrics.
Engagements This Period
Total interactions across all posts—likes, comments, shares, saves, and any other platform-specific actions. For authenticated accounts, Keyhole captures all available interaction types and sums them.
Average Engagements Per Post / Tweet
Total engagements divided by total number of posts published during the period. This metric highlights content consistency and whether your posting frequency affects individual post performance.
Impressions
Total number of times your content was viewed. If someone sees a post three times, that counts as three impressions—but only one reach.
Engagement Rate
Total engagements divided by total reach for the selected period. This shows what portion of people who saw your content actually engaged with it—useful for comparing performance regardless of audience size.
Follower Growth Rate
Percentage change in followers during the selected time period. Calculated by taking the difference between your ending and starting follower counts, then dividing by your starting count. This normalizes the metric so it's comparable across accounts of any size.
Some metrics are only available on certain platforms:
Views – TikTok and YouTube
Avg Likes Per Post – X (Twitter)
Avg Retweets Per Post – X (Twitter)
Likes and Comments – YouTube
Likes Growth Rate – Facebook only
Percentage change in Page Likes during the selected period
Reach Per Post – Instagram and Facebook only
Key insights to look for
High engagement, low reach: A small number of users are highly engaged—this often means limited distribution or concentrated interest.
Drop in average engagement per post: A sudden decline may reflect changes in timing, format, or content type.
Impressions much higher than reach: The same users are seeing your posts repeatedly—this could mean limited audience size or repeated exposure.
Growing followers, flat engagement: If your audience is increasing but interaction isn’t, your content may not be connecting with new viewers.
🔐 Platform Availability
Some metrics are available without authentication, while others require it depending on the platform:
X (Twitter): Follower growth and average engagements per post require authentication
Instagram and Facebook: Reach, impressions, engagement rate, and likes growth (Facebook) require authentication
TikTok and YouTube: Most metrics are available without authentication
LinkedIn: All metrics require authentication
Profile Timeline
This interactive chart shows your posting activity and engagement trends over time. You can switch between daily, weekly, or monthly views to explore patterns in how often you post and how your audience responds.
Orange bars show how many posts you published each time period
Red line shows the selected metrics (e.g., Engagements, Reach, or Engagement Rate)
Key insights to look for
Spikes in engagement: Look for posts published at those times—patterns in format or timing may reveal what’s working.
Steady posting, flat response: Consistent activity with low engagement may mean your current strategy needs a refresh.
Recurring peaks on specific days: Patterns in day-of-week performance can help define your ideal publishing window.
🔐 Platform Availability
Engagements and Engagement Rate require authentication on X, Instagram, and Facebook. TikTok data is available without authentication. YouTube does not support Engagement or Engagement Rate.
Top Posts by Engagement
A ranked list of your highest-performing content, showing detailed metrics for each post to help you understand what resonates most with your audience.
Information displayed:
Content preview with format (Image, Carousel, Video)
Engagements by post
Impressions (when available)
Engagement Rate as a percentage of reach
Reach showing unique accounts that saw the post (when available)
Views – TikTok and YouTube only
Date the post was published
Key insights to look for
Consistent format performance: If certain formats (like video or carousel) always rank high, that’s a signal to prioritize them.
Outlier posts: A one-off post with outsized engagement may reveal a theme or style worth repeating.
Engagement type breakdowns: If posts get mostly likes vs. comments or shares, it can show the depth of audience interaction.
🔐 Platform Availability
X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook: Engagements are available without authentication. Engagement Rate requires authentication.
Facebook only: Reach is available with authentication
TikTok: Engagement and view metrics are available without authentication
YouTube: Engagement and reach metrics are not available

Follower Growth
A simple line chart showing how your audience size changes over time. Use it to spot growth trends and understand how your content or campaigns may be impacting follower count.
Y-axis displays follower or subscriber count
X-axis reflects your selected time range
The line highlights trends: growth, decline, or periods of stability
Key insights to look for
Sharp growth periods: Often tied to specific events like mentions, campaigns, or viral posts.
Flat or declining growth: A lack of new followers over time shows your account isn’t expanding its audience.
Follower drops after campaigns: May reflect audience cleanup—such as bots being removed or temporary interest falling off.
🔐 Platform Availability
Available on X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook (showing Page Likes and Net Change in Page Like Count) without authentication.
Content Insights
This section compares what you post most often with what drives the highest engagement—giving you a clear view of how to align your content strategy with audience preferences.
Most Frequent Post Types
Pie chart showing the breakdown of your content formats—such as images, videos, carousels, etc. On X, this includes Tweet types: original Tweets, Replies, Retweets, and Quotes.
Most Engaging Post Types
A bar chart showing the average engagement per post for each content type.
Media Type Insights (X only)
If you're analyzing an X (Twitter) profile, you'll also see charts showing:
Most Frequent Media Types – how often you post links, text, or combinations
Most Engaging Media Types – average engagement per media type
Key insights to look for
Frequent formats with low performance: If your most common content type gets the lowest engagement, consider adjusting your format mix.
Rarely used formats with high engagement: Formats you post less often may be outperforming others—watch for underused opportunities.
Platform-specific differences: Engagement patterns may vary by platform—for example, Reels on Instagram or Quote Tweets on X.
Consistently strong performers: If one format drives higher engagement across time, it may be worth increasing its share of your content mix.
🔐 Platform Availability
