How to Use Mentions

Mentions shows you when and where your monitored profile has been mentioned by other accounts. It’s a simple way to keep tabs on brand visibility, influencer engagement, and ongoing conversations that reference your handle.

To get started: Go to Profile Analytics, select the account you want to analyze, then click Mentions in the left-hand navigation.

What You’ll See on the Page

Each row in the Mentions table includes:

  • Mentioned By – The handle of the account that mentioned you

  • Caption – The post text that included the mention

  • Likes – Number of likes that post received

  • Comments – Number of comments or replies (if available)

  • Date – When the post was published

Use the date range selector at the top right to filter by timeframe, or use the search bar to locate specific mentions by keyword or handle.

🔍 Key Insights to Look For

  • Spot advocates or critics: Mentions show who’s actively engaging with your brand—positively or otherwise.

  • Measure visibility: Frequent mentions may indicate growing awareness or buzz around your profile.

  • Surface opportunities: Mentions from verified or high-follower accounts could signal partnership potential.

  • Track reactions to campaigns: See if launches, announcements, or posts are getting picked up by others.

What You Can Do with Mentions

  • Search mentions: Use the search bar to find specific users or keywords in mention captions

  • Sort columns: Click on Likes, Comments, or Date to reorder the table and focus on high-engagement posts
