  • Add or bulk upload accounts to your Watchlist

  • Invite influencers or partners to authenticate for deeper metrics

  • Use tags to organize accounts by campaign, region, or role

  • Filter your listening data to focus on key accounts

Overview

Account Watchlist lets you add specific accounts—like influencers, press, or competitors—and filter your listening trackers to include or exclude them. You can track performance, unlock advanced metrics, and keep your data focused on the voices that matter.

You don’t need Profile Analytics to use the Watchlist, but connecting both gives you a more complete view.

Key insights to look for

  • Missing reach or impression data: If some accounts only show likes or comments, they may be unauthenticated and limited to public metrics.

  • Drop-off in tracked activity: A decrease in posts or missing metrics could signal an expired or revoked authentication.

  • Uneven performance across groups: Comparing metrics by tag can reveal differences in impact by region, role, or partner type.

  • High volume of unauthenticated accounts: If most Watchlist accounts are unauthenticated, deeper metrics may be unavailable across your campaign.

How to Use Account Watchlist

See which accounts are being tracked—and manage who powers your campaign data.

To open Account Watchlist:

  1. Go to Listening & Campaigns and select your tracker

  2. Click Account Watchlist in the left-hand menu

Inside, you’ll see:

  • A table of all added accounts (with tags, handles, and authentication status)

  • Authentication progress (green checkmarks or “Authenticate” statuses)

  • Filters to sort by tags or authentication status

  • Options to add, bulk upload, export, or tag accounts

  • Totals for added, authenticated, and expired accounts

Use it to:

  • Track which voices are powering your listening data

  • Invite influencers or partners to authenticate for richer insights

  • Segment accounts by campaign, region, or role using tags

  • Spot expired or unauthenticated accounts at a glance

  • Export your Watchlist or set alerts to stay informed

How to Add Accounts to Your Watchlist

Your Watchlist is a table of all added accounts—authenticated or not—with filters, tags, and status indicators.

Each row shows:

  • Account Name

  • Tags (e.g., Ambassador, Partner, Press)

  • Handle (platform + username)

  • Authentication Status

  • Date Added

  • Actions (View Analytics or Analyze in Profile Analytics)

At the top of the page, you’ll also see:

  • Total accounts added

  • Number of authenticated and unauthenticated accounts

  • Expired accounts

To add a new account:

  1. Click Add Accounts in Account Watchlist

  2. Enter the account handle and click Save Now

  3. Copy the authentication link from the pop-up (or click Authenticate later from the table)

  4. Share the link with the influencer

  5. Once authenticated, you’ll see a green checkmark beside the account

Adding 10 or more? Use the bulk upload option—download the CSV template, fill in the details, then upload to Keyhole and invite to authenticate.

Do Influencers Need to Authenticate?

It depends on what you want to track.

Without authentication:

  • You’ll get public data only (e.g., likes, comments)

With authentication:

  • Unlock Stories, impressions, reach, demographics, and tagged mentions

Note: Authentication gives Keyhole read-only access to public performance metrics—it does not allow posting or access to private data. Influencers can revoke access at any time.

Use Tags to Organize Accounts

Tags make it easier to group, compare, and filter accounts—especially across large campaigns.

Why use tags?

  • Group accounts by campaign, region, role, or audience

  • Filter and segment performance by group

  • Compare performance across different tag categories

To create a tag:

  1. Click +Add Tag at the top of the Watchlist

  2. Give your tag a name and assign a color

To add tags to accounts:

  • Click Add Tag next to any account

  • Or use checkboxes to select multiple accounts and bulk tag

Once tagged, you can filter by tag in your Watchlist, Profile Analytics, or Listening Trackers.
