How to Use Posts
Posts gives you a searchable, filterable view of all content published by the social profiles you're monitoring—whether it's your own brand, a competitor, an executive, or an influencer.
Supported platforms include:
X (Twitter)
Instagram
TikTok
YouTube
Facebook
LinkedIn
This is the post-level source of truth behind your Profile Analytics dashboard: what was posted, how it performed, and when.
Some data—like reach, impressions, or saves—may only be available for authenticated accounts.
To get started: Go to Profile Analytics, select the account you want to view, then click Posts in the left-hand navigation.

🔍 Key Insights to Look For
Spot top performers fast: Use Engagements or Engagement Rate to surface your most effective content across any time period—especially useful for repurposing, learning, or reporting.
Compare similar posts side-by-side: Posts lets you scan captions, formats, and media alongside performance—perfect for identifying what tone, visuals, or topics drive interaction.
Track performance gaps by platform: Not all metrics appear across platforms. If Impressions or Reach are missing, it’s likely due to authentication—not poor performance.
Look for content patterns: Are your TikToks with music outperforming silent ones? Are Instagram posts with saves or comments showing longer captions? The post view gives you the raw material to spot these trends.
What You Can Do with Posts
Posts isn’t just a feed—it’s your workspace for searching, sorting, filtering, tagging, and exporting the individual posts behind your dashboard metrics.
Search Posts
Use the search bar to find posts by keyword, hashtag, or phrase from the original caption. It’s an easy way to isolate campaign content, announcements, or specific topics.
⭐ Tip: Can’t find a post you expected to see?
Keyhole only collects posts starting from the moment a profile is added. If something’s missing, it may have been published before tracking began, after the account was disconnected, or your date range may be too narrow.
You can also use the search bar to help locate it—try entering a phrase or hashtag from the original caption.
Filter by Tag
Use Post Tags you’ve already applied—or create new ones from this page. Tags help you group posts by themes, campaigns, or content types, making it faster to compare performance or pull examples for reporting.
Filter by Metric
Focus your view using filters like:
Post Day of the Week – Identify which days content was published
Post Time – Spot trends based on hour blocks
Post Type – View performance by format (video, carousel, image, reels, etc.)
Hashtags – Filter by specific hashtags
Number of Hashtags – Compare posts with different hashtag counts
Post Length – See how caption length correlates with engagement
Why it matters: These filters help uncover actionable patterns. You might notice that short captions with 1–3 hashtags outperform long-form posts, or that weekday mornings consistently drive more engagement.
Adjust the Date Range
Use the top-right date selector to view posts from a specific timeframe. The feed updates automatically.
Export Your Posts
Download your filtered view as an Excel file. Ideal for campaign summaries, performance reviews, or sharing with stakeholders.
View on Platform
Click View Post to open the original post on its platform—X, Instagram, Facebook, etc. This is helpful for reviewing creative, copy, or media directly in context.
