Authenticate your own Facebook account or public Pages
Track posts from authenticated or specified Pages

Filter your tracker by specific Pages
Understand Facebook’s API limitations
Overview
Due to Facebook’s API restrictions, Keyhole cannot track general keywords across all public posts. Instead, you can track hashtags and keywords from specific Facebook Pages—either your own or others you specify.
To get started, you’ll need to authenticate at least one Facebook account. You can then track:
Hashtags from any added public Page
Keywords in posts from your own Pages or authenticated Pages
How to Authenticate Your Facebook Account
You must authenticate at least one Facebook account before tracking posts. Choose the option below based on what you’re tracking.
Option 1: Authenticate Your Own Facebook Account (via Profile Analytics)
If you're tracking your own pages, authenticate through Profile Analytics:
1. Go to Profile Analytics in Keyhole
2. Click Add New Profile, then Add Authenticated Profile and choose Facebook
3. Click Authenticate and Log in with Facebook
4. Once connected, you can track:
Impressions
Engagement (likes, comments, shares)
Reach
Option 2: Authenticate Influencer or Public Pages (via Account Watchlist)
To monitor influencer or partner Pages, use the Account Watchlist.
1. Go to Listening & Campaigns in Keyhole
2. Select Account Watchlist, then Add Account
3. Enter the Facebook Page handle
4. Click Save Now to confirm
Once authenticated, Keyhole will track any posts from these pages that contain your specified hashtags or keywords.
Alternatively, you can use Profile Analytics to authenticate any public page:
1. Go to Profile Analytics > Add New Profile
2. Select Add Any Public Profile (instead of Add Authenticated Profile)
3. Once added, go to the profile in Profile Analytics and click Authenticate
How to Track Keywords from Specified Pages
Even without authentication, you can track keyword usage from Pages you specify in your tracker settings.
1. Open Listening & Campaigns in Keyhole
2. Go to Trackers and select an existing tracker or create a new one
3. Open Tracker Settings and go to Filters
4. Under Get posts from these accounts, add the public Facebook pages you want to track
