Overview

Mentions shows you which posts mention your handle—so you can monitor brand visibility, track engagement, and see how others are talking about your profile. Use it to keep an eye on campaign reach, identify advocates or partners, and stay informed about conversations that include your account.

How to Use Mentions

To open Mentions:

  • Go to Profile Analytics

  • Select the account you want to analyze

  • Click Mentions in the left-hand navigation

This feature shows when and where your monitored profile has been mentioned by other accounts. It’s a quick way to track visibility, audience engagement, and influencer activity connected to your brand.

Use it to:

  • Track mentions related to product launches or campaigns

  • Spot potential partners or advocates

  • Track mentions by competitors or peers

What You’ll See on the Page

Each row in the Mentions table includes:

  • Mentioned By – The handle of the account that mentioned you

  • Caption – The post text that included the mention

  • Likes – Number of likes that post received

  • Comments – Number of comments or replies (if available)

  • Date – When the post was published

Use the date range selector at the top right to filter by timeframe, or use the search bar to locate specific mentions by keyword or handle.

Key insights to look for

  • High-visibility mentions: Posts with strong engagement or from verified users signal reach beyond your existing audience.

  • Engaged accounts: Frequent mentions from the same users may point to active supporters or critics worth monitoring.

  • Campaign traction: Spikes in mentions during a launch or announcement suggest your message is getting picked up.

  • New opportunities: Mentions from influencers or partners could signal interest or momentum worth following up on.

What You Can Do with Mentions

  • Search mentions: Use the search bar to find specific users or keywords in mention captions

  • Sort columns: Click on Likes, Comments, or Date to reorder the table and focus on high-engagement posts

  • Export data: Click Export to download your mentions as a spreadsheet for reporting or team sharing
