In Keyhole’s Influencers tab, metrics like Exposure and Impressions help you measure the impact of influencers engaging with your tracked terms. These insights show both direct engagement and extended reach from shares or retweets—so you can see which influencers are driving real visibility.

Influencer Metrics Explained

Metric

Description

Posts

Shows the top influencers who have used your tracked hashtag, keyword, URL, or @mention—giving you a snapshot of who’s actively contributing to the conversation.

Avg Engagement

Displays the average number of likes and shares per post, helping you identify influencers whose audiences are not just large, but actively engaging.

Followers

Shows each influencer’s follower count, giving you a sense of their direct audience size and potential reach.

Impressions

Estimates how many views were generated by the influencer’s posts using your tracked terms—based on their follower count and number of posts.

Exposure

Captures total reach, including extended views from retweets or shares. Exposure includes impressions and any amplification beyond the original audience.

Domain Rank

Indicates how well an influencer’s linked website(s) rank in search engines—lower scores mean better domain authority.

Bio

Shows a brief profile summary of the influencer, giving you helpful context when evaluating who they are and why they matter.

Understanding Exposure vs. Impressions

Impressions reflect how many times an influencer’s audience may have seen a post.

Exposure goes further—capturing how far that post was amplified through shares,

retweets, and reposts.

In short:

  • Impressions = Direct views from the influencer’s audience

  • Exposure = Impressions + views from extended reach (e.g., retweets)

Exposure Example

Let’s say @UserX has 500 followers and posts twice using your tracked hashtag:

  • Impressions = 500 followers × 2 posts = 1,000

  • Now, @UserY (who has 1 million followers) retweets one of those posts

  • Exposure = 1,000 (UserX’s own impressions) + 1,000,000 (UserY’s retweet reach)

  • Total Exposure = 1,001,000
